Hello friends! Look at me being on time with MPM! I hope everyone had a great week. The fall weather has started to creep in and I’m LOVING it. My birthday is at the beginning of October and I love Halloween so Fall has always been my favorite holiday. How did you guys do with your meal plan last week? Are you in need of someone to just do it for you this week? Well, look no further because my $100 Aldi Meal Plan has arrived!
Facebook LIVE
This week on the LIVE I launched my $100 Aldi Meal Plan with a complete grocery list. What is that you ask?! Well, it’s a 7-day meal plan with breakfasts, lunches, dinner, and snacks for a family of 4. I also give you the exact grocery list of everything you will need to purchase at Aldi to make it happen and it clocks in at about $95!
Check out the video to see everything you need and then subscribe to my email list and get your copy! I mentioned in the Live last week that I’m trying to spend $100/week on groceries for the next 12 weeks to save $720 for Christmas shopping. That money plus what we set aside weekly in our gift budget should be enough to do 100% of our Christmas shopping this year!
So I’m challenging you guys to do the same and that’s why I created the $100 Aldi Meal Plan for you guys. If you’re not sure how you can make $100 feed a family of 4 for an entire week, give it a try! The meals are tasty and easy to make. It took me 47 minutes to buy, check out and bag all of my groceries. So what do you have to lose?! Below you’ll see what’s on the plan but if you download the full planner you’ll get the recipes and grocery list too.
The Plan
Sunday: Tex-Mex Chili and Cornbread
Monday: Chicken Tacos & Beans
Tuesday: Tuna Noodle Salad & Fruit
Wednesday: Veggie Soup & Biscuits
Thursday: Chicken Pot Pie
Friday: Sausage Sheet Pan Meal
Saturday: Breakfast Bubble Bake & Pineapple
What I Spent:
I spent $100.25 on my Sunday trip to Aldi. (Dang that extra Roma tomato!) We are currently budgeting $160/week for our family of four but as you guys see, we eat almost all of our meals at home. But like I said above, for the next 12 weeks, I’m only spending $100/week! I’ll hopefully be able to save $720 by Dec. 1st.
Last Week Recap:
Clockwise from top: Chile Rellenos, Sliders/Corn/Sweet Potato Fries, Chicken Pasta, Chipotle Chili Mac & Tomato Basil Soup
We follow last week’s meal plan, 6 out of 7 days last week! We ended up having leftovers and eating out last week. I think I’m going to go back to building both of those into our plans. As a SAHM, I cook a ton all week long and I look forward to eating out one night a week. But usually we have one other night that’s a FFY (fend for yourself) constituting of leftovers or easy throw togethers.
That’s all I have for this week! I hope you guys find the new format more interesting and helpful if you’re grocery shopping on a budget. Come follow me on Facebook to keep up to date with my LIVE grocery hauls and my weekly #undomesticmomhacks
