For about six months straight, here on the blog I did a weekly series called “Meal Plan Monday”. I shared our family meal plan, how much we spent on groceries and how the week went overall. I played with various different templates from showing you guys what I planned the week before, what I planned for the future week and a mixture of the two.
Ultimately, I got caught up in writing more tactical posts when it came to meal planning. My weekly family meal plan posts fell by the wayside. However, I’d like to start sharing them again. I’ll try to include as many recipes as I have so you guys can add the ones you like to your meal plans. If there’s ever not a recipe for something you see and you’d like it, just leave me a comment and I’d be happy to get it to you ASAP!

Grocery Haul
Going Live on my Facebook page, I shared this week’s grocery haul. I get my groceries delivered weekly from Aldi via Instacart. Are you curious about grocery delivery services? Then be sure to check out my post about why meal planners use grocery delivery services and my other post about how meal delivery services can actually save you money! I go in depth about how they have truly changed the grocery game for me in the past 4 months!
YouTube was my first exposure to grocery hauls and I loved them from the start. I love seeing what other people buy at the stores I shop at because it gives me ideas. Also, I love seeing what other people spend on their weekly groceries. This week I spent $161.50 which is about $30 over what I normally spend.
However, I did buy a few extra convenience items for my husbands lunch since he was out of town last week. We’re also trying to eat healthier so our budget has risen over the past 8 weeks so it might be time to reevaluate our budget. Overall, I’m very happy with what we got for the price and seeing as it was delivered by Instcart, I’d say the price is right!
