Another week, another weekly family meal plan! I hope everyone had a great week. We had great weather here in Chicago and got to go visit some friends over the weekend. This week my husband and I are recommitting to healthy eating (a paleo-ish diet) so I have a bunch of easy and delicious dinners planned. Let me know in the comments which ones look good to you!

Grocery Haul
I didn’t do a grocery haul on my Facebook page this week because we were at a birthday when they got delivered. Are you curious about grocery delivery services? Then be sure to check out my post about why meal planners use grocery delivery services and my other post about how meal delivery services can actually save you money! I go in depth about how they have truly changed the grocery game for me in the past 4 months!
I love seeing what other people buy at the stores I shop at because it gives me ideas. Also, I love seeing what other people spend on their weekly groceries. This week I spent $146.68 which is about $20 over what I normally spend. Since we’re eating healthier, that doesn’t surprise me.
With eating Paleo, I fully expect our grocery budget to increase. More meat, nuts and higher quality snacks will naturally increase the tab. However, we’ll be eating at home more often and that will cut back on our eating out budget. While we typically only eat out once a week for dinner, we’ve gotten into a bad habit of eating out at lunch 2-3 times a week. On top of grabbing snacks likes iced coffees, donuts or ice cream throughout the week too. So overall the grocery budget will increase but the food spending should level out or decrease. Fingers crossed!
