Zarbee’s Naturals Baby Cough Syrup
We got struck with a cold this week. Nothing too bad but both girls had low grade fevers and coughs. If you have kids, you know that when your kids have a cough they sleep like crap. Which then turns sick kids into super crabby kids which then turns mom into a crab. I gave the Zarabee’s Cough Syrup a whirl and I’m loving it. It’s safe for babes 2 months and older so I could give it to Kerrigan and Georgia. I’ll definitely be keeping this stuff stocked around here from now on.
I love coffee in all forms but as it gets warmer I switch to iced coffee. (Not that it’s warmer yet but it’s technically Spring so I’m moving on:) I typically cold brew my own but when I was at Aldi over the weekend I saw this and decided to give it a try. It’s crazy good, very smooth and easy to drink. Pretty sure it was a special buy at Aldi but you can also get it at Mariano’s and other Kroger affiliates.
Okay so my friend Katie over at So Much Spinach told me about this app and had me install it to give it a try. I am OBSESSED. It’s basically like leaving your friends and family a “Facetime voicemail”. You just record yourself saying whatever you want and it sends it off to them and they can watch it or listen to it whenever they get a chance. Two of my best friends live far away so I immediately made them download it and we’ve been having a great time with it. I’ve also been using it for friends who live close by just because it’s more fun that a text message.
Benefit Hello Flawless Powder Foundation
Finding this bad boy in an old box of makeup was a super score for me this week. I totally forgot about it and after using it again I instantly remembered how much I loved it. I’ve been trying to throw on a 5 minute face every morning because it makes me feel better about the day if I look semi-presentable and this foundation is perfect for that. It has buildable coverage and conceals my redness very well. Heading into summer I know I’ll be reaching for this powder foundation even more.
Real Life Organizing: Clean and Clutter-Free in 15 Minutes a Day by Cassandra Aarssen
Cass from ClutterBug on You Tube is not only hysterical but she used to be just like me and now she’s a professional organizer. Say what?! She used to be a total hot mess and shove her clutter in closets and under beds. Then one day she cleaned up her act and transformed her life into a tidy one. She’s my muse and I aspire to be her. Her advice is straight forward, easy to follow and gets quick results. In her book “Real Life Organizing” she helps you identify the best organizing strategy for your personality, using bug metaphors, and then gives you the tools to implement it. It’s such an easy read and all the information is easy to understand. Loving this book and it’s helping out a TON with my spring cleaning.
