Easy Meals: Meal Plan Monday

Happy Monday! Are you guys in the Halloween spirit yet? We definitely are! We had our annual Halloween party on Saturday and had a great time celebrating with friends and family. Halloween is my favorite holiday and I love soaking it all up.

Last week got a little chaotic with some expected and unexpected visitors. We ended up having leftovers twice and then had our party food on Saturday. Which was a delectable nacho bar but I totally didn’t take any pictures of it😭 Next time!

Grocery Haul

No grocery haul from last week! I did Instacart this week. Last weekend got away from me and I didn’t make it to Aldi Sunday night. It’s obviously more pricey than going yourself but it’s still cheaper than not going at all and getting take-out/fast food all week.

I probably do Instacart 5-6 times a year but I love the convenience it brings to my life when we need it. So I wasn’t able to stick to our temporary $100/week grocery budget but I didn’t do terrible all things considering!

I stuck to easy meals this week to keep it simple. Check out some other easy meals I love to make when I have a hectic week in this post.

Sunday: Wedding (Frozen Pizza for the kids & Sean)

Monday: Chicken Tortilla Soup

Tuesday: Chicken Bake, Broccoli & Mashed Potatoes

Wednesday: Pasta with meat sauce

Thursday: Trader Joe’s Mandarin Chicken, Rice & Broccoli

Friday: Leftovers/out

Saturday: Halloween Party (Nacho Bar)
