Hey guys! Happy Monday:) Hopefully, it is a happy Monday for you. It is for me because I’m leaving for my anniversary trip with Sean on Thursday so you literally can get me down right now. The meal plan has some easy salads on it before we leave and then some crowd-pleasing favorites that I’m making for our friends and family that are gracious enough to watch the girls while we’re gone.

Watch my grocery haul here and see what I got for the week. I got more than normal because I really wanted to leave a stocked fridge when we left Thursday morning. So I’m positive next week’s bill will be lower than normal because I won’t have to get as many snacks and residual ingredients.
The Plan
Sunday: 5 Ingredient Chicken Soup & Fried Rice
Monday: Tuna Noodle Salad
Tuesday: Panzanella
Wednesday: Out to Dinner
Thursday: Chicken & Rice Soup and bread
Friday: Chicken Alfredo Bake
Saturday: Mexican Lasagna
What I Spent:
I spent $224.82 on my Sunday trip to Aldi which is atypical due to our travelling. We are currently budgeting $178/week for our family of four but as you guys see, we eat almost all of our meals at home. From my research, most families of four typically spend between $146-289/week so we’re definitely at the low end! We shop primarily at Aldi and I highly recommend it if you’re grocery shopping on a budget.
Last Week Recap:
We actually stayed on plan last week! I forgot to take a picture of the Caesar salad wraps and didn’t ask Sean to snap a pic of the frozen pizza, lol, but we did have those. Nothing thrills me more than a perfectly executed meal plan.
That’s all I have for this week! Check out last week’s MPM if you missed it! Come follow me on Facebook to keep up to date with my LIVE grocery hauls and my weekly #undomesticmomhacks
