Busy moms often find it difficult to take time for themselves. They are always on the go, running errands, cooking dinner and cleaning up after the kids. This can lead to stress or even depression if left unchecked.

5 minute guided meditation is an easy way to help combat these issues and improve your life in a super short time frame! That’s why we’ve created this blog post – so that you can learn how meditation will change your life for the better!

What is a guided meditation and why should you do it?

A guided meditation is a form of meditating where you listen to someone guide you through the process. The benefits of this are that it can be relaxing, calming and even help with sleep disorders or anxiety issues!

Guided meditations take less time than other forms because they have been designed for busy moms just like yourself. By listening to these meditations every day you will notice a huge difference in your life.

Guided meditations also take the guess work out of meditating. There’s no wondering how to clear your mind or what you should actually be thinking about. Just follow along with the narrator and you’re meditating.

How do you find the best guided meditation for busy moms?

There are many options out there, but we recommend looking on YouTube or iTunes for any of your needs. You can search “guided meditation” and choose one that fits with what you’re going for!

Different guided meditations can help with different issues, so it’s important that you choose the right one for your needs. For example, if it’s sleep issues consider a meditating to help lull you to sleep.

If you’re feeling frustrated with your kids, you might look for one for release or anger. If you’re feeling anxious or unable to focus, try a meditation for mindfulness or a ground meditation.

Is 5 minutes of meditation enough to see results?

Yes! You might not notice the effects right away, but with daily meditation you will feel better. Just like exercising every day doesn’t make an impact on your body immediately, neither does meditating.

However, if you stay consistent and do it for a few weeks or months then the results will be seen in no time at all! If you’re still skeptical, try meditating for one day and see how you feel.

Some Amazing Results From Just 5 Minutes of Meditation a Day

Feeling more grounded

Being able to focus easier

More sleep at night

Having a clear mind at work

More patience with your kids

What should I do if I’ve tried meditation before but couldn’t focus?

If it is difficult to clear your mind or you simply cannot seem to find the “meditation state”, don’t worry! That’s completely normal. Most people have trouble clearing their minds at first because they are used to thinking about thoughts constantly.

This is called “monkey mind” and it can be difficult to overcome at first, but don’t give up! With enough practice you will find yourself able to completely quiet your mind within just a few minutes of meditation.

One of the benefits of a 5 minute guided meditation is that it’s short and to the point. Even if you struggle with something like ADHD or sensory processing disorder, guided meditation is easy enough to master.

What time of day is best for meditation?

Any time of day is good for meditation, but some people prefer to meditate in the morning or right before bed. If you’re struggling with sleep issues then it’s best to do your meditation at night and fall asleep faster after a session!

However, if you want more energy during the day we recommend doing your guided meditation in the morning. This will give you a boost of energy and make it easier for you to focus throughout the day!

Here are some great times of day that work well with guided meditation:

Before bed – helps relax your body, fall asleep faster & have better sleep quality overall

After waking up – gives you more energy during the day, wakes you up after a night of sleep & makes it easier to focus

When your kids are driving you nuts and you need to reset

During lunch – takes away cravings for unhealthy food during the afternoon, increases productivity & keeps you calm during stressful times

Give 5 Minute Guided Meditations a Try

5 minute guided meditation for busy moms are extremely beneficial with little effort. A rarity in motherhood.

Guided meditations vary in what they target, such as help with sleep or work productivity. Remember to find the right one that works for your needs.

Give these meditations a shot! You might not notice an impact right away but should feel great in no time at all!

Is five minutes of meditation enough? Can you see results this quickly? Yes and No. You will see immediate results like being able to calm down and reset but longer benefits, such as focusing and better sleep, might take a bit more time and consistency.

If you’re still skeptical, try meditating for one day and see how you feel. All you have to lose if five minutes. But you have a world to gain.
