Happy Monday! What a fun week I had! Coming Live to you guys every day was really a real thrill. I’m so pumped about the $100 Aldi Meal Plan, I really loved showing you guys what it was all about. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, head over to my Facebook page and check it out!
Facebook LIVE
Check out what I bought this week on yesterday’s Live. At the end, I also talk about how I plan to go Live at least 2-3 times a week so definitely like my Facebook page to see what I’m up to. I also mentioned how I’m still going strong with saving $60 a week to put towards our Christmas budget and I now have $180 socked away! My total budget is $1000 and I promise to do a post for you guys on how I’m going to break that down.
I’d love for you guys to join me in that challenge! It’s not too late. In 10 weeks from now, December 3rd, you could have $600 if you start meal planning with me. More or less, depending on your budget, but you’ll still have more then than you do now. What have you got to lose??
This Week’s Plan
Sunday: Out to dinner
Monday: Stuffed Peppers
Tuesday: Tuna Noodle Salad & Fruit
Wednesday: Pulled Pork Sliders, baked potatoes & broccoli
Thursday: Breakfast Bubble Bake & Pineapple
Friday: Mini Calzones & Salad
Saturday: Maggie’s Birthday Party
What I Spent:
I spent $78.20 on my Sunday trip to Aldi. We are currently budgeting $160/week for our family of four but as you guys see, we eat almost all of our meals at home. But like I said above, for the next 12 weeks, I’m only spending $100/week! I’ll hopefully be able to save $720 by Dec. 1st. I did have to stock up on a few snacks and I might have gone a little crazy with the fruit this week, lol!
Last Week Recap:
We stayed on track 5 out of 7 days last week! We ended up eating out twice last week due to some birthday celebrations. But we budget for eating out so it’s not a slip-up financially. And I’m lucky to have a best friend who treated me to a scrumptious early birthday dinner while Sean and the kids had leftovers:)
That’s all I have for this week! I hope you guys find the new format more interesting and helpful if you’re grocery shopping on a budget. Check out last week’s MPM if you missed it! Come follow me on Facebook to keep up to date with my LIVE grocery hauls and my weekly #undomesticmomhacks
